Sitting outside enjoying a summer evening. All of the sudden......
There is something running across the garden.... (dark)
Richard(our neighbour) : I think it's a RAT
Me: AHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH
Richard: Jos is the backdoor closed?
Jos jumps up to go and close it. Then comes back.
Me: Did you walk round the side where the thing went?
Jos: Yes
Me: ARE YOU CRAZY?????????
Richard: there it is again.
me: AHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHh we are moving........
Richard: Hey I think it's a hedgehog.
Jos: Wens get your camera.
Me: mmmmmh really a hedgehog?????

Tiger was as unhappy about our vistor as I was when I thought it was a rat.


We celebrated my Dad's birthday yesterday he turned 59 and he is not happy about it.
The boys had a blast and my camera battery went flat just as they started getting golfing lessons from my mom. I was sooooo bummed ohwelllll

To-day Johan, Bert, Wessel and Floor came round and we were going to braai. ONLY it starting RAINING. So it was a inside braai. Did manage to take some cool photo's before the rain set in.

Canon 30D

My Husband ROCKS!!!

My camera has been playing up and I have been on about the canon 30D now for ages.
Last Night Jos said I think you should buy the canon 30d...... I thought he was kidding but to-day we bought it. WOWWWWWW it is sooooooo totally cool. I am the by far the most spoilt woman I know!!! Jos I LOVE YOU, but that you alrady knew.
It's my Dad's birhday to-day Happy Birthday Dad.

We had a braai at Jos's folks to-day and I took LOADS of photo's with my CANON 30D.....

Today we went to Hilversum to see Pieter en Michelle's new baby girl EVY, she is so beautiful.
They leave for China in a couple of months, but before that they will be getting married. so that means we have 2 weddings in a short period of time but that cool cos I can take PHOTO'S...

Amstelveen

To-day we cycled to amstelveen. I had to take my camera in to be checked because it is playing up after my Australian trip.
The lens and camera will cost +/- 300 euro''s to fix.
We had a great cycle and I managed to take a couple of photo's (the camera jams after every 2 or 3 shots...)
We had a nice lunch in Amstelveen and stopped at a playground on tyhe way back.
Once at home all 4 of us took a swim in the pool. EVERY easy going day.

I used to work in a skating ring in South Africa and I used to play Ice hockey.

Wow Hate is a STrong word can't say I Hate anyone. There are some people I really do NOT like had some neighbours that almost had me in the HATING bit but luckly they are now gone and life is good again.

Last day of School First day of Holidays

Yesterday was the last day of school for Riley.
I cleaned some of the class toys for the school and after school Nancy, Asiha and Pawan came over to play. The Kids had a Blast in the POOL. Sven was also here but Caden was with Oma and Opa at the beach. The Kassies stayed and we had Hot Chips and other snacks for dinner. Good Start to the holidays for Riles.
This morning is easy going.... Caden has gone back to bed and Riles is playing on his "new" computer. Jos called this morning to tell me his car broke down.... We were just discussing it last noght trying to decide what to do car wise... guess it make the decision easier...

CRAZY week and now Holidays

Well what a crazy week I've had. The weekend was cool, saturday we went car hunting... and sunday was RELAX day outside in the pool, braai in the garden general chill. BUT in the back of my mind was the up coming training and what needed to be done.
So monday till yesterday were 3 days of HARD work and long hours but that is now DONE.
Tuesday was my nephew's birthday Roan. He is now 6 years old! I haven't seen him in almost a year. Again I tried to call but no answer left a message usaual but also no reaction. Oh well!
SO Roan Happy Birthday hope you had a good day.

I am now on HOLIDAY 3 weeks of no HAVE TOOOOOOO YEAHHHHH

Lunch out

Today was so nice out that I decided to pick up Riley for his lunch break with the bike, Only problem with that is the distance. I would never have made it from school to the house, have lunch and then get back. So I took lunch with. We found a nice spot under some trees behind the city hall in Uithoorn. After lunch the boys started running around. Riley had a game where he does ienie minie mynie moe but then in Dutch ienie mienie mutte .....de baas and the baas (boss) is allowed to run.
I happend to look at the ground and saw the dog poep....ewwwwh and of course Riley had stood in it... so I had to try and clean his shoes.
Took him back to school and then took Caden home, he fell asleep on the bike poor thing. I put him into bed for a bit and then woke him up just before we had to pick up Riley.
Took some cool photo's of a very cute little girl named Silver she is stunning.

project finished

YEAH, I have managed to finish a project. Love that I could combined digital scrapping with traditional scrapping.
I first made 22 digital layouts then had them printed twice, and to-day I made two books. One for each of Riley's teachers. I used the new basic grey magnetic snap to close the book. I am happy with the results. Only really silly but I didn't take photo's of the second book. Here are some of the first one I finished for Juf Bernadette.
